GC Oct, 29

On wednesday we learned that no mater how hard things are going, God is still in our boat. The pastor shared the story of when Jesus was on a boat with fisherman and a big storm hit. Jesus was sleeping on a pillow and didn't panic because he did not fear because he was in control of the storm. God never falls asleep on us. We have to believe and have faith in him and trust that he's there for us. I believe if he didn't love us he wouldn't have died on the cross for us. If he didn't care about us, he wouldn't have healed the sick and helped the homeless. God will never fall asleep on us he's always there!

Hi Miss Mariah,

This is your cousin Shelby Marie out here in el Nuevo Eme; Albuquerque to be exact. I like your blog about controlling the storm.

I like this parable you wrote of, about passing through the storm on His boat--we all have trials and tribulations and as hard as they are, all of them as painful as we can remember how we felt when they happened--they pass. They all passed. Just as the storm comes, it goes, too. We control our reaction to it; thus controlling its fury. In grace, we surrunder, allow, and trust.

This too, shall pass.

Love and Miss You!
